Our Story
Quran Central Women (QC) was founded in 2007 by a small group of women brought together by their love for the Quran. It began as a community-based initiative grounded in honouring the Quran and serving women in their journey of learning how to read it. QC has since blossomed into a cherished community of connected hearts dedicated to learning and sharing the Quran. We are a non-profit, volunteer-run organisation, committed to providing women with a spiritually enriching space to connect with the words of Allah ﷻ.
We warmly welcome sisters of all backgrounds to join us in supporting and building their relationship with the Quran, whether you're starting with the Arabic alphabet or progressing through tajweed and memorisation. Our classes are exclusively taught in English, during the NSW school term calendar at The Granville Centre in Sydney.

Hands that serve
the Quran
Quran Central is led entirely by a dedicated team of volunteers who serve the Quran with sincerity and love. Our teachers are trained in Quranic sciences, with formal Tajweed qualifications and specialist training in teaching adult women.
Teaching Excellence
Each teacher brings a deep understanding of the learning journey. Many began as students within the same program, which fosters an environment of patience, encouragement, and mutual respect.
Continuous Learning
Our teachers are also committed to their own growth. Many are actively studying, revising, and upskilling in Tajweed and other Islamic sciences to ensure they continue teaching with excellence and sincerity.
